Instructions for safe use of liquefied petroleum g

  • Detail

Liquefied petroleum gas is the most commonly used fuel at present, and there are many fires caused by incorrect use. How to deal with it? On the basis of work practice, the author consulted relevant materials and summarized the following precautions for fire safety

I. liquefied gas

has the characteristics of flammability and explosion. When mixed with air, the concentration reaches the explosion limit (2% - 10%), and strong explosion (deflagration) can occur in case of open fire. Users should strictly abide by the safety operation regulations in the process of use. After each use, they should close the stove switch and cylinder angle valve to prevent malignant accidents caused by leakage

II. Users should often check whether the cylinder angle valve, rubber hose, pressure reducing valve and stove are in good condition. Once air leakage or damage is found, close the cylinder angle valve immediately, open the doors and windows for ventilation, and prohibit the opening and closing of electrical equipment (including use). In high temperature season, special attention should be paid to the inspection of the pressure reducing valve film, leather pad and rubber hose to prevent non pressure reduction, non air outlet, air leakage and other situations

III. If the corner valve leaks and catches fire, cover the fire source with wet towels, rags, etc., and close the valve. In case of accidents that cannot be handled, call the local fire brigade (119) and the gas company at the place without liquefied gas in time

IV. it is strictly forbidden to bake the steel cylinder with fire and scald the steel cylinder with boiling water, and it is strictly forbidden to pour air into each other with steel cylinders. Liquefied gas cannot be used in the same room with coal stove, electric stove, etc

v. the service distance between the steel cylinder and the stove shall not be less than 0.8m. Indoor ventilation must be maintained during use, and all valves must be closed when not in use

VI. during the use of gas stoves, water heaters, heaters, etc., users should not leave personal supervision, and should maintain indoor ventilation. It is strictly forbidden to use heaters when sleeping

VII. Gas water heaters must be installed in separate rooms, and ventilation must be maintained during use. It is strictly forbidden to use gas heaters or coal briquette stoves for heating in the bathroom

VIII. It is forbidden to expose steel cylinders to the sun in summer, and it is forbidden to use steel cylinders that exceed the testing period and scrap steel cylinders

IX. it is forbidden to pour the residual liquid of liquefied gas randomly, and the residual liquid shall be uniformly recycled by the gas company. Leak detection shall be carried out during each air change

X. when someone is poisoned by carbon monoxide (produced when liquefied gas is not completely burned), immediately close the steel cylinder angle valve, open the doors and windows for ventilation, and carry the poisoned person to an airy place for first aid, and notify the nearby hospital or rescue station (120)

Xi. It is strictly prohibited to use open flame leak detection. High molecular polymers have the mechanical properties with the widest range of variability among all known materials. In case of leakage, you can use soapy water to check the leakage part. Do not turn on or off all kinds of electrical appliances. Do not wear spiked shoes and chemical fiber clothes to walk around the room. Do not use the relative uncertainty U1 introduced by the levelness of the lever in room 4.1 to alarm
